Perl Scripting

Status

Perl is a neat little scripting language to learn. Compared to C/C++, perl applications have shorter development times, and thus provide a fast, quick way to get a job done. The Perl language extensively supports modifying text, making it ideal for processing web-based, user submitted forms and displaying feedback.

Projects

High School Alumni Search - 8/01: Driven by a need to keep alumni from my high school graduation class together, I created this perl script. The alumni information is stored in a database that the perl script accesses at runtime. This script is currently being used on RoncalliAlum.com
